Privacy policy

Effective 22 October 2026

This policy explains what the Refliqo browser extension and the website at refliqo.latechapps.com collect, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: [CONTACT EMAIL].

The short version

Data stored in your browser

The extension keeps its settings (intervals, monitoring options, keywords and CSS selectors you enter), the state of running refresh sessions, and the last feature configuration it downloaded in your browser’s extension storage. To detect changes it reads the text of the tab you asked it to watch and compares a fingerprint (hash) of it between refreshes. This happens locally and is not transmitted.

Data we receive

How we use it

Only to provide Refliqo: to sign you in, decide which features you can use, sync your settings when you ask, process subscriptions, and keep the service secure. Administrator actions on accounts are recorded in an internal audit log.

Who else processes it

We do not sell, rent or share your data for advertising.

Chrome Web Store user data policy

Refliqo’s use of information received through the browser complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension’s single purpose — refreshing and monitoring web pages — and is never transferred for unrelated purposes.

Your choices

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS. Passwords and sign-in tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. Access to administrative tools is restricted and logged.

Children

Refliqo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users in the extension.
